The developers of Homeworld 3 told the details of the game mode War Games
The developer BlackBird Interactive revealed details about the new gaming mode that will appear in Homeworld 3. A mode called War Games (military games) is described by a studio as a combination of real -time strategies and Roguelikes. Players will be able to go through War Games both alone and in a cooperative, participating in a series of random battles.
In the course of the game, players will have to improve their fleets and armades, fighting with more powerful enemies. Improvements will become available in the form of artifacts. According to the developers, these improvements have incredible force.
The power level of artifacts varies in a wide range: from small improvements, for example, increases to the speed of the shock ship, to more significant, for example, turning assault frigates into close fighters. According to their purpose, artifacts are divided into two categories – templates and upgrades. The parameters determine the capabilities of the ship, and the improvements specialize the corresponding parameter. At the start in mode "Military games" More than 30 patterns will be available, and for each of them – three improvements.
Some artifacts will be available from the very beginning, but others can be unlocked by increasing the character level, which can be done by participating in various game modes. Homeworld 3 also provides for tasks that can be unlocked by more powerful artifacts, which will then become available in War Games.
The game will also appear in the game, in which players will be able to take part in the Homeworld 3 multi -user matches in various modes: from a standard battle of 1 to 1 to more chaotic battles of 3V3 or free battle for 6 players. The game will also implement the function of selecting players on the geographical principle, which will allow you to choose a region in which they will play.
At the start in Homeworld 3 there will be 8 cards in Skirmish mode. Over time, tools for creating cards will be added to the game that will allow you to create your own Skirmish cards available through MOD.Io. In Skirmish mode, you can also choose an Incarnates faction.
The release of Homeworld 3 is scheduled for March 8, the game will be released on a PC in Steam and Epic Games Store.
