Last Epoch demonstrates a unique trading system before starting the full version

Role-playing game in the Hack-And-Slash Last Epoch genre is finally close to the exit from Steam early access. On the eve of the debut of version 1.0, planned for February 21, an independent developer Eleventh Hour Games spoke in detail about his unique trading system, which will be added to the full version of the game.

After long debate inside the studio and the community, it was decided to use the system based on fractions. Last Epoch players will be given a choice between the guild of merchants and the circle of fortune. Joining the first will allow them to trade directly with each other or through the bazaar, although there are some warnings: after the subject was bought through the guild of merchants, it cannot be sold again. Moreover, players will need to increase their reputation in the guild in order to earn the right to trade in the rarest items.

On the other hand, the members of the Fortune circle will refuse to trade in order to increase their potential for searching for items. They can exchange the favor of prophecies that lead to the loss of certain objects or increase the likelihood of creating affixes of a higher level on the subject, when the players fulfill the requirements listed in the prophecy. The objects that have fallen in this way cannot be sold.

Jadd Kobler, founder and general director of Eleventh Hour Games and director of the game Last Epoch, said:

Balancing of the trading system is one of the most difficult tasks in the game based on prey, because it significantly affects the search for objects for all players. Players often disagree about the economy that can increase the value of their items and buildings, as well as about the excitement of hunting, which leads to the detection of unique objects. But, having received important feedback from our community, we have implemented a decision, which, in our opinion, will satisfy both sides of disputes and is a truly unique look at the Role -Rray Games question.
