For YS 10: Nordics, a new gameplay trailer was released

Today, Nihon Falcom announced the date of exit in Japan, the new trailer and new details about the upcoming action JRPG YS X: Nordics.

The game will be released in Japan on September 28, 2023 for PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This was predictable, since NIHON FALCON usually chooses almost always the same period for its releases.

We will also see a short but saturated trailer, demonstrating the first meeting of the Adol and the new heroine of Cardezhi, as well as a gameplay, including battles, movement and marine actions.

We will also learn about other characters that will appear in the game, starting from Mirabel Asrad. She is a nurse working in a clinic in a carnac founded by her father. She is friendly and cheerful, but at the same time amazingly hardy. It naturally interacts even with the Cardeus, which is called the princess of the pirates.

Leaf Euryses is a childhood friend of Glen and Cruise, but he left Karnak to work outside the city. Although it can be seen with signs of a young age, it is often surprisingly adult. When he returns to his hometown, it seems to avoid communicating with his family and does not even approach his house.

Lira is a mysterious woman who communicates with the Adol through the shell found on the beach in Karnak. It is she who gives him the power of mana through the sink. She is located somewhere in the Opel Bay and seems to need Adol’s help.

An nameless old man is a large elderly man who lives alone in a small hut on one of the islands. When Adol visits him, it is he who teaches him to use the power of mana and fight. It seems that he lost all the memories of his past, including where he comes from, why he lives on the island and what his name.

At the moment, the game is announced only for Japan. Nis America usually brings Nihon Falcom games to the West, but they have not yet announced localization. Given the usual pace, we will most likely have to wait some time before we can play YS X: Nordics in English. Fortunately, the YS series is not so far behind the Trails series, so perhaps everything will not be so bad.
