Persona 4 characters could appear in Persona 5
Judging by the early assembly Persona 5, the developers from Atlus originally planned to include characters from Persona 4 in the game. The process of creating the original Persona 5 was difficult and repeatedly undergoing deferrals before the final release took place in 2016. Due to difficulties in the development process, some elements remained behind the scenes.
This week, a beta version of Persona 5, dated December 2015, appeared on the Internet. In this preliminary version, curious aspects were discovered. Enthusiasts actively studied this beta version and shared their finds on the network. One of the outstanding discoveries was the detection of characters from Persona 4, presumably designed to include in the game.
The Twitter user with the nickname A Mudkip found a completely modeled character in the Persona 5 beta version of the Persona 5. Nanako, who is the cousin of the protagonist in Persona 4, appears in adolescence, dressed in a warm jacket and preserving the pigtails characteristic of her childhood.
Camo is not limited only to Dodzima: another modder from Twitter, EllenzAppa, discovered the model of the protagonist Persona 4, yu chips. The model Yu is not complete, since it was modeled only to underwear, without other clothes. Comparison of the models of Yu and Nanako prompted fans to reflect on how these characters could fit into the game atmosphere.
One of the hypotheses is based on the early idea of Persona 5, where ghostly thieves participated in a world tour and could visit Inaba during their journey. According to another theory, given that the city was from this city, and its animations were used in the baseball mini-game Persona 5, Yu and Nanako could meet there.
Although Persona 5 did not have a full appearance of characters from past parts, there were still several obvious cameo in the game. For example, an interview with Yukari Takeba from Persona 3, which can be heard through a TV in Leblan, or the image of Ris Kujikawa on a poster. Nevertheless, some fans express dissatisfaction with the fact that in the final version there was no matured nanako, despite how detailed her model looks.
